That's all I can promise. I'm totally not in the blogging mood. Too much crap going on and I'm just not feeling good about anything really. Anybody hiring???
Here's some good stuff though. Justin, Gage and I went on a bike ride Saturday. Started at Harry and McLean and rode up to the Keeper of Plains, then back up to Douglas and down to the flippin bird, down Waterman to the Hyatt and then back to Harry and McLean. Got some good exersize and good pics.

Saturday nights alright for fighting

Fighting to win Cranium that is! Saturday night Justin and I were graced with the company of Chris, Katie (Chris' niece) and Frank "The Tank" (Katie's boyfriend). I made a nice dinner and we got busy playing Cranium. Girls against guys. I think everyone had a pretty good time. I know I did.

Chris, Katie, myself. We, of course, WERE THE WINNERS. Hope we don't show up on Channel 3.

I have not posted in quite some time. I'm still here, but I have a really bad attitude. I'm a Negative Nancy/Debbie Downer. I'm going to spare everyone. I'm also sick as hell.

Neglected

Sorry. I've neglected the blog. It could have something to do with my discovery of Facebook and a little thing called FLAIR! I must stop!

A lot has been going on in the past week. The big bird has offered voluntary buyouts. I think there were quite a few people who were very excited about it when it was announced, but after letting everything sink in and finding out how much you'd walk away with, it changed your mind REALLY fast! I'm sure it's beneficial to some folks, but I not one of them. I've only heard of a few that are interested.

On Saturday I bought a bra for $45.00. UGH! Yeah, I took it back. Way too much guilt involved with that purchase. I figure I'll go to the red dot boutique and spend $45.00 there on FOUR bras!!!! I know I've disappointed some of you that wanted me to keep the bra, but I'm just not made that way.

My sister's boyfriends son died Tuesday. He had been sick his whole life. He had decided last week (I think) that he was going to quit dialysis. I don't think he wanted to continue to live that way. It's been very sad. He was put into Hospice Sunday and made it to Tuesday. My sister, Bill (her boyfriend), his mother and grandmother were all with him when he passed. May he rest in peace and no longer be in pain.

Christina & I went down to save Lori from her wedding insanity. We showed up on her doorstep in Ark City wearing Long John Silver hats (that will be her new initials, LJS, she's throwing boring overboard) and singing Pirate Butter Jelly Time. Don't ask. I think we got her out of her slump and we also gained the rights to plan out her bachelorette party here in the ICT. Should be a friggin blast! Anyone know of any stripping little people?

My NEW coffee maker. This was a purchase made out of anger a couple of weeks ago. I had also planned on taking this back, but our old coffee maker crapped the bed on Wednesday. YAY!!! I now have a coffee maker that I can program. Coffee ready when I get up? What a concept. Hell to the yeah! I swear some of you probably think we live like the Amish.

New feature

I've added a cool new feature to my blog. If you scroll down, right above the "things to do before I die" I've added "Today's Reason To Drink." tee-hee. I tried to add "Pin-Up of the Day", but it was not appearing like I wanted it too. "Bottoms Up to Nessie." Have a great Friday everyone!

Thank you for being a friend

I received beautiful pink lillies (my very favorite flowers, I even have a large pink lilly tattoo) last Wednesday, along with a card and a stuffed kitty to sit on my computer monitor. All of that for just being a friend. Thanks Christina. I'll ALWAYS be here for you! I know the Vanilla Root Beer I got you yesterday totally does not measure up to your gift.

On to lunch from yesterday. OMG!! It was so good. Christina and I hit up Jeannie's Cafe in Lincoln Heights. We originally went there for their Chicken n' Noodles. That is what Christina wanted. I just was not feeling it. So I ordered their "mini" Chicken Fried Steak. HOLY CRAP. I think I saw God with the first bite I took. It was so good. If you've never been to Jeannie's you must give it a shot. Good home- cooked- comfort- stick- to- your- ribs kind of food. YUMMY!

Also wanted to say good bye to Daniel from Project Runway. Don't let the door hit you in your a55 on the way out. Hey Daniel...Ever heard of constructive criticism????? Take it in dude and learn from it and also take your exquisite taste and shove it. buh-buh! Sorry I'm still a little bitter from Kelli's departure last week.
